Captivate-Moodle-Ipad

I am currently running Moodle 1.9.XX, We use Captivate 6 for production of our classes and out put it to Moodel as SCROM.

The only minor issue I have is students with a ipad cannot view the classes because it is FLASH based.

Can Captivate 7 out put a SCORM file that is not flash based that will work with Moodle?

(I did try the Html5 option with 6 and it did not work)

apart from your issues around Flash content...... Moodle 1.9 was released on 3 March 2008 which was before the first iPad (April 3, 2010) - Moodle point releases (1.9.1-1.9.19) only usually contain bug fixes and security patches and support for bug fixes in Moodle 1.9.x branches ended June 2011.

The best version of Moodle to use for iPad support is Moodle 2.6 (releases next week) - it includes a range of improvements for mobile device use that are not available in the old 1.9 branch.

If you want to support mobile device use with Moodle you need to upgrade your Moodle site to a recent supported version of Moodle (prefereably Moodle 2.6)

Thanks for the information on Moodle 2.X, But does Captivate 7 out put a SCOM package that does not use Flash?

Yes it does.  But you should ideally do some testing of the output with SCORM Cloud LMS and your iPad to ensure you're happy with the results first.
