Captivate presentation displays perfectly in computer monitor, but layout errors occur when projected.

One of my trainers is reporting that when she tries to project a Captivate presentation, it displays perfectly in the computer monitor, but in the projected image the Table of Contents shifts to the right side and covers up the project. Has anyone heard of this happening before? Any suggestions on how to solve?

What is the resolution of the project? Was the TOC separate or in Overlay? At which resolution is the projector set? Especially also the width/height ratio? If a Captivate published file is to be used in a presentation, I use to convert it to an interactive pdf: easy to rescale and to play Full screen. I don't know which published output you are using?

Thanks Lily!

The situation is developing right now and I don’t have access to the local projector settings. Based on both your BDuck's answers, I suspect its the project resolution what is causing the projector to malfunction in this way (it's a 1024 x 768 resolution, not usual). I already relayed the instructor to check the resolution of her projector. I will also provide them with pdf copies for future use; it makes a lot of sense.

Check the resolution of the projector, it may be causing the projection window to behave this way.

You may be able to correct it by using the browser settings to 'zoom our' or 'zoom in.'

Thanks, I will relay to my instructor.
