Captivate project won't open on new laptop

I used Adobe Captivate 12.3.0.12 to create a project; my company gave out new computers and the Adobe captivate was installed. However, when I try to open a project created on the old laptop, it will not open; just spins. I am able to create new projects on the new laptop.  My IT support has tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Captivate and it has not solved the issue.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

    That spinning icon is the worst. Since it's a new laptop, check if you're running Captivate as an Administrator. Sometimes the new IT permissions block the project from 'extracting' properly upon opening. Also, double-check that the projects are saved locally and not on a synced OneDrive/network drive - Captivate 12 can be super finicky with those!
