Hello everyone. First time poster here. I am relativly new to Captivate and I am having a problem with my projects where is the ENTER key is pushed while int he project the entire presentation restarts from the first slide. I have checked for click boxes with ENTER shortcuts on them, etc but I have been unable to resolve this. Any ideas?

Can you give some more details? Are you talking about a project in the authoring environment or after publishing? If it is after publishing: is it published to SWF or to HTML? A normal or a responsive project? Which version of CP was used?

I'm using Captivate 9 and this is the finished project playing in Internet Explorer. (HTML) If by normal/responsive you mean does the user perform actions, then yes there are click boxes and text fields the user uses.

What she means is that in recent versions of Captivate, you have an ability to create a "Responsive" type of output that is HTML 5 based. In that project type, you see a bar at the top of the editor showing the breakpoints.

If it's a "normal" type of project, you don't see this bar. And when you produce output, you choose either SWF or HTML 5.

Hmmm, does the project use playback controls?

My thought here is that perhaps focus is on the restart button of the playback control and pressing Enter causes the button to be "clicked".

If that's the case, perhaps add a button object on the first slide that you ask the user to click. That should cause focus to shift away from the playback control.

    Cheers... Rick

Moved out of the Forum Lounge (not for technical support) and to the Adobe Captivate forum.
