I have a project with 10 slides. Slide 1 & 2 are intros. Slide 3 is the main menu, here users can select slide 4-10 at thier own pace. In slide 3 I have narration explaining to the user how to navigate (the audio last about 10 seconds). The problem is that every time the users goes back to slide 3 the audio repeats and it gets a little annoying. My question is, can I set the slide audio to only play once? So I want the user to click slide 1, then 2, then 3. In 3 I will give him/her 10 seconds of instructions. He/she will select slides 4-10 and when they are done, they click slide 3. When they return to slide 3, I do not want captivate to play the audio again. Is that possible?

Hi E-ROD15 and welcome to the community.

Yes, it can be done, but not in the way that you might want. A lot of Captivate work is "smoke n mirrors", so, create a duplicate of slide 3, but remove the audio from the copy, then let them "return" to the copy without audio when they select slide 3 again. The user won't see the difference, but the audio will only appear to play once.
