Captivate Slide Time Enforcement- Help

In the training made by Captivate, Is it possible to make sure that the participants have to read certain slide for certain time before they can pass to the next one?

    Having been a college professor for many years, I don't like to impose that type of requirements, but that is off topic.

    Have a look at this blog post, maybe you'll find some ideas:

    There are other ways as well, but try this idea: no navigation by playbar, but by custom navigation buttons which appear only after a certain time.

    If you are on Captivate 9 - you don't mention the version you are using -  another approach would be to use the new command 'Delay Next Actions by....' followed by the action 'Show Next button'. Again, you'll need custom navigations. A Next button can be a shape button on the first slide, timed for the rest of the project. That way you have a unique ID for that button, and if you use a shared action, you can edit the time to wait on each slide since it will be defined as a parameter.
