Captivate + Solr?

Has anyone used Apache Solr (or similar) integrated with an LMS to make Captivate content searchable? As I understand it, it can index content in compressed formats, so especially if all my modules are HTML5, it seems like it should be possible? If anyone's done it (or tried to do it), I'd love to hear about it.
