Captivate source code available for Cp Users? Why not?
I love Captivate. I have since Cp4. Love Cp9. Can't wait til Cp10!
Having said this however, I look at sites like blogs.articulate.com and am just incredulous at the amount of material they put out on their website. And it's not just specific to Articulate either. Plenty of the material there is just eLearning agnostic in terms of resources and writings by folks within the industry. On just one page in there, they showed a collection of 800 samples of elearning interactions from the general public that submitted free source code to them, which could be used in everybody else's Storyline work.
We have such fantastic people that preach about Captivate here, and I'd put their years of experience in eLearning and various toolsets above anyone else in the industry. But why can't Adobe do more to foster community interaction like what they are doing over at that other company? Surely that has got to help draw even more interest into Cp? I mean - do we have a resource at level of activity of sharing? Are there plans to do such an environment in the future? If not - why not? Adobe could swallow up Articulate if they wanted to - they definitely have the capabilities.
Meanwhile, I will gaze longingly at these to see how I can spice things up. They're pretty slick.

Users can learn so much, so much more quickly by learning from example. If a user is able to upload a .cptx file showing what they think is the greatest interaction since "the rollover button" - why not let them do so, so people can download it and view it? We can all learn from each other.
Just my 2¢
sigh
