Question

Captivate to IOS app - serious problem need urgent help :)

Running Cap 8.0.3.290

Macbook pro OSX Yosemite

PROBLEM:

  • I have published my responsive project as a native iPad app and installed on my iPad 2 but after the loading gif disappears no content is visible at all except a white background and a small 20px (estimate) black sidebar to the left of the screen. (Fig 1.0 below)
  • When I turn the iPad vertically the project appears at the very bottom of the screen but cropped dow to less than 100px. (Fig 2.0 below)
  • When i turn the iPad back to landscape orientation the project disappears again and the black sidebar mentioned before gets larger. (Fig 3.0 below)
  • Have also tried with a new blank project and getting same results

QUESTION:

  • Has anyone come across this problem before?
  • Does anyone know of a tutorial that walks through this process?

Thanks,

Stephen.

    Stephen,

This is the second time in less than an hour that you have posted exactly the same issue as a different thread.  Please do not double-post issues.  It won't get you an answer any earlier and will just annoy the people that might have offered solutions.

Rod I am a newcomer to the Adobe forums and didn't intentionally post to two different threads. Please be more considerate of new people on the forum who might not have the same level of understanding as yourself.

If you did not "intentionally post two different threads" then I am baffled as to how it occurred.

Double-posting of issues is frowned on in ANY user forum. We certainly welcome newcomers, but on THIS forum, double-posting is not viewed as polite.

Please be more considerate of the people on the forum who might have more understanding about the software than yourself and who spend many hours every week answering questions from newcomers, lest you find that your questions go unanswered by the very people you need to help you.
