Captivate v8 - stopping auto navigation

I'm on a PC using Captivate v8. I'm trying to figure out how to stop the project from moving from slide to slide automatically. I want the user to have to move to the next slide using my Next button (and back with the Back button, but the slides just keep rolling along on their own. How do I stop this auto-navigation?? Thanks!

Why did you take away the default pausing from the buttons?.You need just

that.

I don't think I (intentionally) took away anything... I didn't change any defaults. If there is something I should look for in a specific area, please be very specific in your description... I'd sure appreciate it!

Since you wrote 'my' Next button I thought you added a custom button. Or are you talking about the buttons on the playbar?
