Captivate - video has been watched notification

Hi there,

(please bare with as this might be a bit tricky to explain!)

I'm currently creating an e-learn module on captivate. I have a menu with buttons that link to a slide for each different topic.. and each topic has a different video. What I would like to do is to have 3 different states for these buttons: one when the video has not been watched, one when the video is being watched/been partially viewed and one when the video has finished being watched.

Is it possible to do this on captivate?

Thanks!

Sian

How did you insert the videos: event video or multislide video. There could be a solution for the multislide video (tracking the frame on the video slide, because it is controlled by Captivate), but event video is playing independently.

You can add custom states to buttons and shape buttons, no problem for that. A conditional action triggered either by the return button on the video slides, or by the On Enter action of the menu slide will be needed.

Hey,

I haven't yet added the videos. I've just made a very brief outline of what I'd like to do. So it would be better to use multislide video?

Thanks for the advice!
