Captivate video pauses slide but not sound

I have created a captivate video and as it tries to transition from slide 1 to slide 2 (or any slide for that matter) the pause button goes from || to |> (pause to play). I never push the button and I don't have any transitions or anything that should be pausing the movie. The odd thing is that the sound continues playing while the visual remains static.

Help?
