Captivate with Scorm 1.2 quiz reporting freezes randomely when user reaches the last slide and close

Captivate with Scorm 1.2 quiz reporting freezes randomely when user reaches the last slide and closes the presentation.  I have tried republlishing several times and the  freezing does not haappend every single time. The quiz is short 10 questions and I chose not to show the question results. The  users reaches a congratulations screen and when they close the presentation, it frreezes the machine. The presentation is reporting to Skillsoft LMS via SCORM 1.2

Use the Quiz Results slide, remove the title caption, scoring variables, and feedback message if you want, but leave the Continue button.  Put your congratulations message on that quiz results slide instead, but make it tell the user to click that Continue button to finish the module.  Have at least one short blank slide AFTER the Quiz Results slide.

Hi RodWard, thanks for the quick response. I actually did have the results page in the presentation but it was hidden so I will make it viewable. The exit button does not work in my LMS environment so that's why I was using the congratulations page appear last and it had insturctions on clicking another button (controlled outside of captivate) to close the window. I will make the results page viewable, leave the continue button, but I will need to leave some kind of message in the short slide that follows just to let the user know to click on another button to close the window. Hopefully making the results page viewable sends the LMSfinish command (which I'm assuming is the culprit). I've heard change the template to SendTrackingDataAtEnd has also resolved some issues but I have not tried that yet.
