Captivate9 trial version output expiry

Hi,

I am evaluating Captivate9 trial version for our company. Does the output generated by the trial version (both exe, and HTML5/Flash outputs) have some form of expiry, such that the output contents will no longer become viewable? There was a warning about this when I tried generating HTML5 output:

If there is indeed some form of expiration on being able to view the output after the trial period, and we purchase a short term (one month) subscription, will that remove the expiry of any generated output?

Regards,

Krishna

After you purchase your new license you need to re-open the CPTX project files, go to Preferences > Project > Start and End and there remove the Expiry date, then republish the content again.

Thanks for the quick response! We might go for a one-year subscription. I assume we can re-subscribe after a year if we need?

Also, we used to have a full licensed copy of Captivate 3, but it no longer works due to Flash player not being supported. Any idea if the old licence can be carried over?

Carry over a license from Captivate 3 to Captivate 9?  That would be a No.

Just purchase a license for a single month?  I believe you can do something like this, but you'd probably end up paying almost as much as for the full license due to the penalties.  But you'd better ask Adobe.  I don't work here.
