Capture Users not connected to LMS

Question

Gentlefolk, Captivate 2019I have some users who are blocked from our LMS, but who still must take training and have that training recorded. Is there a process in which the user can enter name and organization user ID, and have those to fields written to an Excel sheet or some other document that we can then use to manually update the LMS that these users can't access? My requirements are pretty simple - all I need is a record of name and UID in some format that I can then use to update the learner's record in the LMS. Thank you for any thoughts! Don

I just did a test by creating and embedding a Google Form using a Captivate Web Object and it does what you need. Obviously there are other ways to do this, but this method is very quick and simple.

I made a simple form asking for a Name and a User ID. They click the Submit button within the form and Google forms tracks the user responses. You can even export the data to Sheets if you'd like.

After you create the form, click the Send button and it will give you three options on how to package it. One of which is an embed code. That is what you want to copy. Then in CP, just add a Web Obj and tick the radio button for Embed code, and paste in the code in the entry box..

Quick and dirty, but it works.
