Hi all,

I have a standard question and I would like it to fill the space rather than continue across the screen.

Is there any way I can utilise carriage return?

thanks in advance!

Please, are you talking about a default Question, if yes, which type of question?

If it is about the Text Entry Box, and you want Text wrapping (text moves automatically to the following line, and a scrollbar will be present), activate 'Show scrollbar' in the Options accordion of the Properties panel of the TEB:

Please, could you explain a little bit more?

Which version of Captivate, which type of default question? What is the space needed for?

Currently the question sits on the right hand side of the page and as the user types his answer in it runs across the page and they can't see what they have previously typed after a certain amount of words. Instead, I would like it to have lines - when they get to the end of the screen on a certain line, it goes down to the next line.

Captivate 5.5

Text entry box

Thanks Lilybiri!
