Change theme-wide default hyperlink color?

Apologies if this has been covered (I did look!).

I'd like to change the text hyperlink colour across my theme, but I'll even settle for doing it within just one caption style.

I have not been looking for it inside the Object Style Manager but no luck yet.

I would prefer not to have to go through and highlight each hyperlink and alter the colour in the Character palette each time a client has a change of heart/hue. I'm really into universal styles coming from an InDesign background.

This must be the *easiest* thing, and I feel a bit thick for missing it

Thank you!

Camilla

Captivate has no Character nor Paragraph styles (which I also miss a lot). The Object Style Manager has only 'object' styles, which means that the color, attribute and font size are part of a text container style, which includes also alignment, fill and stroke of the container (caption or shape). For that same reason you cannot create a new style from a restyled 'hyperlink' word or sentence, not apply those changes to 'all objects of same type', because a hyperlink is not considered an 'object' in Captivate terminology. I understand, with an InDesign background that this feels very bad, but Captivate's core goals are not really about Design, but about eLearning. A long paragraph to tell you that I cannot offer you any simple work flow at all. It would be great if you entered a feature request, although there are so many requests on the list of the team.

Thanks Lilybiri!

Great to know I am not missing something really obvious. I've just been highlighting and manually changing the colour. I have not got too many links to deal with and my design is signed off so I don't expect the colour to change. I'll put in a request for sure.
