Changed Style does not appear (Cativate 8)

See Screenshot. Do not wonder, it is a german version.

1. I Change the Text in Quiz-Preferences from "Frage %d von %d" to "%d von %d"

2. This Change appears in the Style-Manager.

3. It do not appear in a new Question. Why?

When I change other texts in the same way they appear in new questions. Tried it also with other than "|" e.g. simple "o" to look if the problem is the special character. Same result. Means this is not the problem.
I am really helpless about this ...

    It is not a style, but a label (in English version, don't have problems with German).

    Did you check the Master slides: is the changed progress indicator appearing there?

    I cannot check this, because I no longer have CP8 on my system, only CP9 and CP2017. Can you check the exact version number, it should be 8.0.3..... if my memory is correct.

    Right, it is a label, wich is used by the style as far as i understand it.

    In the Master-Slide is still the old label, but this is the same with the changed labels wich work when I create an new question.

    Version is 8.0.3.290

    Info - Update: Found out that the problem only accurs when using pools of questions in an random-question (hope this is the captivate-label for it in english). When i add a single question the label has changed (means e.g. "1 | 4" or "1 von 4" is shown right and not the old "1 von 4"). Unfortunaly i have to use random questions.

    Not really, style is only about formatting, but that is bit off topic, sorry for that. It is really bit confusing because the preview in the Object Style Manager will show the progress indicator with its label from the Preferences. All object styles and master slides are part of the theme.  You are correct, the master slide is not updating with the new default labels at all. It has been a while that I didn't need to translate courses, in former versions when editing the default labels they used to show up correctly in the master slides. This is annoying, will log it as a bug. Even when importing full preferences, master slides are never changed. Newly added questions will have the new labels.

    You talked about a 'new question', not that you were using a question pool. Was the question pool created before you edited the progress indicator label? Inserting a random question will take it from that pool with its 'old' master slide setup.
