Hello all,

I've been fine tuning a big project on Captivate 2 these last days and have reached the point where i'd like to change the graphic for the "next" button i created.
I'd like captivate to apply the change to all the "next" buttons in my project but this doesn't seem to be possible sinc he olnly applies the grpahic change to the button i'm working on.

Can anybody help ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi again, thanks for the tip,

but it seems that the transparency option is another of those features that doesn't apply to all the objects even though the "Apply to all" option is activated.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Solution N° 2 seems to get me half way there but I still have to manually delete the buttons (there are a couple hundred buttons) one by one. Unless there is a mass delete button I am unaware of :-D

Unfortunately there isn't. I suppose the closest you might come would be to first take the following action:

BEFORE you edit and do all the copy/paste hokey pokey, you could edit the button, change it to a Transparent Button, ensure the coloring is basically invisible, then configure the action for "No action". Remove the Pause and position it in an obscure corner and size it super tiny. Then use the "Apply to all" feature to effectively "hide" the existing buttons before you add the new ones.

Hi GaelBanchi

Sorry, but there is no facility I'm aware of that will easily accommodate that. So here is how I would approach it.

1. Consider submitting a Wish Form asking for this feature. You may do just that by clicking here and completing the form you should find there.

2. After you change the first button, copy it to the Windows Clipboard via Ctrl+C. Now select all the remaining slides where the button should appear. You may do this using either the Film Strip in Edit view or using the Storyboard view. Now paste the button via Ctrl+V. The button should now appear on all the selected slides. Depending on your settings, you may need to visit each slide and delete the original button.
