Changing playbar on first and last slide

I am using Captivate 6 to publish several HTML5 modules. I'm using the Mobile Playbar. Is there a way to remove the Back button on the first slide and the Forward button on the last slide of a module?

using playbar widget is a good idea. but that will not work in HTML 5 output as widgets are not supported in HTML 5.

You are right; oversight on my part. Aside from extensive programming, building a playbar -sans the progress bar- with available navigation buttons may be a fallback option.

I've had so many "irregularities" with HTML5, I don't think I'd want to attempt building my own playbar. The oversight is really on Adobe's part to have not provided this as an option.

You can use multiple master slides and one of the playbar widgets to accomplish this. Create a MS name it, say,

'back_btn_off" and insert a playbar widget, then select the options you want enabled and disabled. Do it one more time for"nxt_btn_off" MS, then assign these master slides to your first and last slides in your project.
