Changing the way the quiz works- Where is the script!!!!!!!?????

Well guys, i want to use the quiz  but want to change a few things:

a) i want to add a "next" button to each question slide so the user can click "next" instead of anywhere on the screen to advance to the next question

b) in the quiz review slide I want to modify the screen to show

     - questions missed along with a list of the sections that students have to review for the missed questions

seems pretty straightforward. so, i know these questions are script based but I cannot find the script anywhere. where do i find it and modify it?

Thnks in advance

Hi,

There are no scripts that you can access and modify. Advanced actions can be created using Project->Actions.

Answers to your queries

1) You cannot insert an Interactive object like button in Question slides.

2) There are Quizzing variables available, in your case it can be cpQuizInfoTotalUnansweredQuestions. You need to insert a text caption and insert this variable using the Insert Variable button in the Text Caption properties dialog.

Hope it helps.

thanks

Thanks Ravi.

I'm not sure if cpQuizInfoTotalUnansweredQuestions variable would work. I am looking for questions answered incorrectly not questions that were not answered.

I am looking for something like this..If students answer quiz item incorrectly, show content slide title that is attached to that quiz item. For example
, if object ID = Quiz10111, display slide label "Systems Overview". Of course, there must be some way to tie the quiz object ID with a specific content slide.

Any other ideas?

Have you thought about editing the "Incorrect Feedback" to something like "This is incorrect. Review p. 7." You should be able to edit that box for each question slide. With regards to "Hot Spots" questions .... We use those quite a bit, and I just keep the Submit button outside the hot spot area. I also have the Clear button on the slide, and my Incorrect Feedback is something like - click Clear and try again. My learners get three tries.
