Question

Clear History

I had created some custom captions for a course and edited the images. When I click to choose a caption, the old custom captions are still listed. I would like to clear these. Does anyone know where these are stored and how to clear them from the list?

Thanks, I found the problem. I had some example captions on a hidden slide that were the older version. By replacing them with the newer version, it solved the problem.
Thanks

Hi Everett,

They will be stored wherever you placed them when you created them (or saved the edited ones). Look in:

C:\Program Files\Adobe|adobe Captivate 2\Gallery\Captions

You may need to shut down and restart Captivate after deleting or moving them, to force a refresh of the program cache. If they continue to appear, you may have to do a copy-paste of the entire project, to clear the old ones from the *.CP (project) file.

Also, if you are working with an older project and the project still contains instances of those captions, they will probably continue to appear in the drop-list "above-the-line" (even if you do the copy-paste-project to a new blank project as mentioned above).
