Question

Click and Reveal = underlying Content Caption won't appear when clicking

Hi - I have set up a click and reveal using the standard interactions slide.  I set up my captions in State View.  But now I have two captions and it won't let me delete the one that is blank.  The only thing that's showing all the time is the intro header. When I click in preview mode (or publish), nothing but the header shows up.

Help!  I've looked all over and can't figure out how to fix this.  Thank you!

Please can you explain your problem more in detail. I have a lot of questions:

    • What is a 'standard interactions slide'? I never heard that term
    • Can you show the State view panel for the 'captions'?
    • Can you post a screenshot of the side and of the timeline?
    • Which action do you use to 'click and reveal'?
    • Which event is used for that action?

Since you talk about state view, I assume that you are using Captivate 9. Did you install the hot fix?

I'm a pretty new user so will try to answer as best as I can.  I downloaded this slide from the Asset Brothers so it was all pre-loaded (standard interactions slide).  The action for the click/reveal is the Button. I don't understand the question around action.  Thoughts?  Thank you!

Have you tried directing this question to the Elearning Brothers?  If they created the interaction, I would think they should know how it works and should be providing some documentation to help you.
