Hi there

Is it perhaps a timing issue? My thought is that perhaps you are clicking before the slide pauses. So you click while the playhead is in motion and it's registered, but the playhead then hits the pause point.

I'd suggest a small test before we start troubleshooting. Before you click, wait perhaps 20 seconds, then click anywhere and see if the slide continues. If so, you know you are dealing with a timing issue of the pause point.
