Question

Click Box

I'm hoping that someone can help....I inserted a click box to insert a "Skip Intro" box at the beginning of my video but when previewing it or publishing it, it is nowhere to be found on the executed version. When I go back into edit mode, it is in there. Any help in identifying what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi BobbyA and welcome to our community

Sorry, but you haven't given us much to go on here. As a result, I've got a question or two.

    * What tells you the click box is missing? Hopefully you are aware that these are basically invisible buttons.
    * Does the movie pause on the slide where the click box is placed? I should. If the movie doesn't pause, then maybe you are seeing an issue with the click box.
    * What (if any) other objects are on the slide?

    Cheers... Rick

    Rick,

Thanks for the prompt response. I appreciate it! I realize that the button is supposed to be invisible but after deleting the hint and wrong response boxes that "come with" the click box, I placed the right answer box over the invisible box. When running the slide or slideshow, nothing appears - even though the text within the box is red and bold and can't be missed. I also moved the box to the front so that it won't be superimposed by another figure or graphic. You are right, that the show stops when the box is "supposed to appear", it's just that the "response" box never DOES appear, it's just that the show or slide stops.

It DOES appear that the use of a "Button" takes care of the problem that I was having (instead of using a click box, but shouldn't I be able to use a clickbox. I am basically trying to let a user "skip an intro" to a training video...should I be using a click box or a button? Any help or advise would sure be appreciated. Thanks.
