Click Box and Captivate Video Question

I am using Captivate 8 on Windows. I can't recall what type of slide I am showing above. Is it a video slide?

This video slide was created from the Software Simulation. It shows a drop down menu scrolling down and making a selection.

My question is, how can I allow the viewer of this type of slide to scroll down? Can it be done by a text box?

It should mimic the actual scrolling down.

Hope I am clear.

Thanks

It might be clear to someone else, but exactly what you want is not clear to me.

Your 'video slide' is probably a Full Motion Video (FMV) slide inserted into a sequence of screencapture slides because the interaction with the actual drop-down menu in the software you were capturing was set in your capture preferences to be done as an FMV.

So my question is are you intending the viewer/learner to interact with the drop-down menu, or just sit and watch the screencapture?  Are you just creating a Demo where the learner watches the content, or content that attempts to replicate how the original software worked so that the learner can interact with the simulation?

I want the learner to interact with the drop-down menu and for the content to replicate when the original software is doing.

Thanks

A FMR slide or a Video Demo slide (both have a camera icon) are passive, you cannot have learner interaction with that type of slides. You will have to create that type of interaction on a static slide. Here is an example of a mimicked dropdown menu:
