Click Box Attempts

I have a click box with 3 attempts allowed. I want before the final attempt a text caption to show the user where to click. However when I set this as "Before final attempt" it only flashes on the screen then it moves to the next slide. How do i get the slide to stop while that caption is up and wait for the user to click?

Thanks,

Mike

HI there

I think you will need to use Advanced Actions for this. Insert a caption that points to the location and configure it as hidden. Then use a variable with an Advanced Action. The action would update the variable, then check to see if the count = 2. And if so, reveal the caption.

Thank you Rick,

Would I make the variable associate with the click box?

Also I have 7-0 slides, would I be able to reuse thise Action? Or would I have to create 70 copys of it since the caption will be different, im guessing this is the answer.

Thanks,

Mike

Shared actions in Captivate 7 only. Or have a look at this blog post:

If you don't get an answer, maybe your question is not clear. Really I don't understand it at all, and as you see, I'm used to answer questions.
