Hello,

I think I'm an idiot. I've read almoust all of the "opening another project", "linking..." etc discussions. But I have no idea how to make it working. Starting once again:

I have unlocked Flash security or whatever it is. I have a project and it is so big so I decided to cut him for more smaller projects. I would like to have a one slide project with many clickboxes areas for opening another projects.

I exported, pubished all possibilities of linked project(swf,CP,hml...) to one slide project folder. I tried Open another project, open file/URL. Nothing happens.

What do I have to do, step by step.

Where should be all projects, what formats, where to preview

I hope u understand all.

cheers Barbatian

    Hello,

I know I won't be using Jump to Slide. :-)

    Let me explain...

For example I have a one slide project. On this one slide is screenshot of www.adobe.com, just a picture.

I also have few more projects called "Products", "Solutions", "Learning", ...

Each of these projects explains what any of these "folders" contains.

    For example:

    Project Products will start:

Click here, to see our Products(with voice and mouse movement)

    Next

Here u can find any of our products. Click any of them to learn about it...

Sth like this... I hope u know what I mean.

Instead of having this all in one project(1000 slides) I would Like to have main page with "hyperlinks" to another projects. But I don't want My main project to open another project as another file/window. I just want my main project to "jump to another project" in the same window. Is this possible in .exe file or .swf ?

    Another way:

I would like to have my main project on web. So like the first time user won't be jumping to another windows or tab. He will be watching in one tab, one captivate "movie".

    Is this possible ?

How Can I do that ?

And how Can I open those another project in other tabs/windows in web.

I tried to publish all projects to the same folder but it doesn't work... Maybe I did sth wrong. Can u write it step by step what should I do?

I hope u understand my bad english and my vision :-)

    cheers Barbatian.

    Hello,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums,

When you say "Opening another Project" you want to open the .swf file (published output) from a click box ??

Which version of Captivate you are using ??

    Which Operating System ??

Are you publishing all the Project inside the same folder ??

    Thanks

    Vikram

    Hello,

    Captivate 5, Windows 7.

    For example:

I have main project with many clikcboxes opening another smaller projects. Main project will be executable file and the "open another project" action should work as "jump to slide" is it possible ? IF not...

I read about it and it works in web, right ? So is it possible to open another project in next tab or sth like this ?

I was publishing all projects to the same folder.

    cheers Barbatian.

    Hello,

As you are saying your main project is published as .exe file.

You won't be using Jump to Slide, you will use "Open file or URL" action.

Also let me know what will be the published output of your other projects (.exe or .swf) ??

    Thanks

    Vikram
