Click boxes not included when recording in Captivate 8

We're having issues with click boxes not being added to simulation recordings done in Captivate 8 for two developers. Both are using Captivate 8.0.0.145 on Windows 7.

Developer One has click boxes enabled in all simulation modes. When using Manual record, no click boxes are auto added. Should they be when using Manual? Same developer uses Automatic and the click boxes are added, but not for all clicks.

Developer Two has click boxes enabled in all simulation modes. When using Automatic record, no click boxes are auto added.

We have other developers with no issues. None of the developers have admin rights, but the application is set to run with admin/elevated rights.

Any troubleshooting ideas most welcome. Neither developer had issues in our past version, version 6.

Can you install the patch? You are not using the most recent version.

Will the 8.01 patch resolve this specific issue? I don't see this listed as a bug fix (or maybe I missed it).

It takes some time to get updates approved and prepped for the environment.
