Question

Click sounds being played for Smart Shapes- Screen turns white? (CP6)

I have a screen set up with a bunch of shapes. In the real version, these have click boxes on them that lead you somewhere. But this just shows you where everything is, so there are no click boxes or functions, just shapes. These few screens are publised and then inserted onto one slide as a flash object. When you navigate to this slide in the full project, it works; however, when you click those mock boxes, there is still a click sound, even though it's just a Smart Shape and a text box. How can I get rid of this? These shapes are not checked under properties to function as buttons. Wondering as I type this if I should enable as a button with no function and click the property to disable the sounds.

The other problem is that when I click around these boxes, the entire screen will go white, and I'm not sure why. Is this related to the item being a flash object?

Changing it to a button does not work, even with disabled sounds. It is still making a click sound, and when you click the box it now has a clicked effect. (It shrinks for a second when you click it.)

Nesting one Captivate SWF inside another Captivate project is not recommended.  Can cause too many strange issues.  Captivate is not really designed to be used this way.

So you think these are just bugs?

I'm also finding it difficult to test properly. Sometimes there is a click sound, sometimes there isn't. If I click multiple times in rapid succession, sometimes it clicks, sometimes it doesn't.
