Clickbox Action Opens URLs in Preview, not when I publish?

Hi All,

I created a project in Adobe Captivate 5.5 that consists of three slides. Two slides have click boxes with "Open URL" action. When I Preview the project in Web Browser from within Captivate, the URL links work, (albeit slowly...) When I click on them they open the URLs.

When I publish the project to a folder on my computer four files copy: .htm, .swf, .swf skin and standard.js. When I open the project in a web browser and mouse click over the click boxes they don't do anything.

I don't get it. Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any ideas,

- Leslie Everett

Likely you are producing SWF output. That means you are viewing via the Flash Player.

Unless you plan on copying the output to each individual computer, don't sweat it. The Flash Player is blocking the move. Once you upload to a web server and view it from there, things should work fine.

Cheers... Rick
