Hi All,

We have published Captivate 9 project as HTML 5 where we had included Closed Caption, when it is viewed in client computer is shows some other fonts then we had assigned for the Closed Captions in my project.

Can you please help me how to embed font for Closed Captions so customer also can see the same font style which I assigned for them?

Thank you very much for your reply.

The safest bet here is for you to choose the font you use for Closed Captioning from among the small number of web-safe fonts that Captivate provides and shows in a separate group at the top of the font drop-down.

Choosing some other non web safe font could get you into hot water with HTML5 because mobile devices often have issues displaying anything outside these specific fonts.

There are ways to embed non-standard fonts in HTML5, but Captivate doesn't provide any way to do this via the interface.  You'd have to either hack the code in the published output each time you publish, or else make permanent changes to the templates that Captivate uses when publishing.

To my knowledge, the Captivate HELP files don't offer advice about how to do this.  But there are some capable HTML5 programmers on this list that may chime in to help you.
