Closed Captions - Captivate

Hello to the community.

I am working with my team in Captivate 9. Our task is to add Closed Captions in embedded videos, synchronize them with the audio that the video has and then generate an html.

All that we could do, but we have some doubts.
1) when I open the HTML the subtitles are shown correctly, but when the first video ends and the second one starts, they do not show the subtitles automatically. To appear, you have to click on the "CC" button in the playbar.
2) In the project there are slides with videos and without videos. The background of the subtitles appear in the slides where there are no videos. How can I deactivate that?

I hope everyone's help.
Greetings.

First of all, make sure you are running the latest update for your version of Adobe Captivate. Sometimes initial releases contain bugs that are corrected in the updates.

Closed Captioning should continue with displaying the captions on subsequent slides, however, there might be some on-enter advanced actions that could be closing that down. You can force the closed captions to appear on every slide by including a single line advanced action that includes the command Assign cpCmndCC with the literal value of 1. The similar command Assign cpCmndCC with the value of 0 would have the effect of closing the captions window. Assuming you've entered the captions on each slide and video successfully the earlier command will force the closed caption window to open, even if the user closes on their own.
