Closed captions in YouTube

My closed captions do not show up in YouTube. When I press the cc button on YouTube some crazy captions appear that I think are an attempt to transfer the audio to text but they are not the captions I have created. I choose the publish directly to youtube option. Anyone know how to fix?

Your Closed Captions in Captivate are actually part of the Skin, not the content area.  So they don't get converted to video when you publish out to a Youtube (or other video) format.  If you wanted to see captions with text timed to synch with the audio of the output video file you'd need to manually set up captions or shape objects on the slides with text pasted in from the Slide Notes area.
