"Color shift" in MP4 after published in Captivate 8

Below is a screenshot from a MP4 showing the video file as viewed with Quicktime in the lower frame, and the same file viewed in a published Captivate project in the upper frame. Note that Captivate renders the video file darker and more saturated.

Should we be using something other than Quicktime to preview video files before they are placed in a project, which better approximates how Captivate will display the file?

I believe this is the dreaded Quicktime H.264 Gamma Shift bug.

Any idea how to avoid this?

Captivate renders those F4Vs on its own from my FLVs, I cant adjust anything
