Hi

Can anybody out there explain to me why the colour in a PPT slide would change when imported into Captivate? It occurs on all the text boxes and auto shapes fill colours

Regards,

Ryan

    Hi Ryan,

This is something that many Captivate users have experienced. One possible workaround would be to configure your PowerPoint to present in a window. Then use Captivate to record the presentation as you play it. Another solution - if you are importing static graphics as opposed to animations - would be to edit this in a graphic editor using the color replace tool.

To do this select the slide you want to change in the Library panel. Next, click the Edit With… button. You can find this in the Library panel toolbar. If required select the image editor you want to use to modify the graphic. Now apply your changes to the image and then save the file.

Now, when you return to Captivate you will see that the changes you applied in your graphic editor have been applied to the image.

Lastly, I would also recommend that you report the issue you are experiencing with the PowerPoint import feature to the Adobe Captivate team, using the web address I have included below.
