Colour wrong in imported image

Hi
Just imported a .png image to a blank slide. Published as a stand alone file. When viewed the colour of the image was completely wrong - blues turned into vibrant greens.
Had tried importing a .jpg but nothing happened when I hit OK
Any ideas

It didn't work but I noticed a jpg quality setting and tried that and it did work even though it was a png image.
So thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Does it help if you display Slide Properties and adjust the Quality setting to perhaps High?

Just last night I was working on a Captivate where I had to do this to avoid color issues.
