Combine Captivate .swf files?

Does anyone know if it's possible to combine the main data *.swf file with the *_skin.swf file into a single file? Would that require importing the script file into the mix as well?

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason

Your question would qualify as one of the most frequently asked since version 2 began shipping.

Coaxing Captivate to produce a single .SWF is pretty painless. Click Project > Skin... > Borders tab. DE-select the "Show Borders" check box. Dismiss the dialogs and Publish again. Poof! Single .SWF output.

Note that your playback controls (if you are using them) will now occupy part of the space for the movie and sit on top of your movie. If you don't like this behavior, you could resize the movie to make space for them. Additionally, this does nothing to prevent you from also having to ensure you include the moviename.HTM and standard.js files that are also usually needed.

Cheers... Rick
