Comments Not Showing Up in CP 5.5

We're trying to utitlize the Captivate Reviewer through Acrobat.Com.

We are able to send the reviewer file to acrobat.com, retrieve it, and make comments.  When we try to retrieve the comments in Captivate, however, the button to retrieve them is not available to select.

Could there be a step we are missing in the process?

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

The process that you are following to add comments in utilizing Captivate Reviewer through Acrobat.com  seems to be correct. However, you might be missing one step , i.e, to click on "Save Comments" tab in Captivate reviewer after adding the comments. Unless, you click on " Save Comments" , you would not not be able to retrieve the comments once the Captivate file is closed and opened again.

Thanks for the help, but I have been clicking "Save Comments".

After giving up on that option, we even tried exporting the comments to xml, but when we try and import them, we get an error.

Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I'm having the exact same issue.

I've been testing this myself using multiple email addresses. I've created the .crev file, sent the email to another address I have, successfully reviewed and entered comments, SAVED them, and exited the reviewer. I think returned to my original machine and hit "Refresh Comments" in the .cp file, but nothing happened.

The interesting thing is that I can open the .crev file that was created on my machine when it chose to send for shared review and see the comments I entered under my second email address. So the comments will refresh in the Captivate Reviewer, but not in Captivate itself.

And since I'm sure it will be asked, yes, I've also tried closing Captivate and opening it again, but to no avail.

I don't want my reviewers to have to export to an XML file and send it to me, so as a workaround I can use the .crev file that connects to acrobat.com to export all the comments to XML and import those into Captivate. It's a little bit of a hassle considering how helpful the functionality COULD be.
