Content Management Tools for Captivate similar to Subversion or Git

I'm looking for a content management tool similar in functionality to Subversion or Git that would work with Captivate. In particular the ability to work with a root file and then merge any changes to branch versions of that file (for customizations such as logos, slight content changes, etc.). Are there any suggestions for such a tool that would work with the .cptx file?

    Your not going to be able that with a cptx.

    Since it's not a text file, I thought that prob. was the case, though wanted to see if there might be some options. Thank you for your reply.
