Convert from Authorware to Captivate

Hi,

I need to confirm whether there is a direct transfer between Authorware (yes Authorware) to another Adobe product.

That answers my first question!

My next question is: which Adobe product (or other company Products) is best for a comapny with around 10 developers, however will be linking into a instructor base of around 3000 (however they dont need to have authoring/editing rights, hoever have the capability to review the courseware).

I have a number of products on my radar at the moment!

I don't think we can answer that question for you. Only you can answer it with evaluation and analysis of the products to see what works best for your needs.

Welcome to the forum Parky! Can you define "direct transfer"? Are you talking about 1.) Save As or Importing a project or are you talking about 2.) skill set transfer or a software that is close to or like Authorware?

1.) Not that I'm aware of, which is unfortunate but Adobe dropped developing for Authorware many years ago. I absolutely loved Authorware and was very upset when the killed it but Adobe has killed several other great products since so I guess that's just the way it is.

2.) I think Captivate is the closet thing you can get to Authorware (from Adobe) especially since Flash is pretty much gone now except for game developers.
