Convert old projects to HTML5 and Ogg Vorbis?

Is it possible to convert old Captivate projects to HTML5 and Ogg Vorbis?

When converting using Captivate 6 I don't find a switch for Ogg Vorbis (mp3 seems to be the default).

MP3 is not supported on all HTML5 web browsers. What am I missing?

Thank you in advance!

You can convert your Captivate 5 and 5.5 project into HTML5 using the HTML5 converter for Captivate : http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/captivate_html5.html

and there is no switch for Ogg Vorbis.

Andy,

There are a lot of Captivate 5x users out there that will no doubt be hoping the release of Captivate 6 HTML5 conversion will somehow mean that the converter for Cp5x, which had a very limited range of functionality, will now get an upgrade and rival Cp6.

I think it's time that Adobe let everyone know that the HTML5 converter for Captivate 5/5.5 is NOT going to get past BETA.  Are you able to confirm that for us?

Rod – The labs page was updated at the release of Captivate 6 – http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/captivate_html5/.

June 15, 2012 — Our first experiment with HTML5 has been hugely successful. You have helped us get direction in evaluating how HTML5 should be built into Captivate. We have taken your inputs and built HTML5 as a full feature in Captivate 6.

The HTML5 converter will be available on Adobe Labs until June 30. Keep an eye out on our product page for the Captivate 6 announcement. Thanks again for all your support!
