Converting Cp4 files to 5.5 and then 8

I have the onerous task of converting a couple hundred files from Cp4 to Cp8 via 5.5. Can anyone tell me what problems to anticipate when opening the converted files in 8?

    Have no crystal ball but expect a lot of cleaning up work. CP4 did support AS2, later versions do not, so be sure not to have any AS2 in the files. Text engine has changed, questions have changed. I understand that you have to do so many files, but personally I would prefer starting from scratch in CP8, using the available assets from the old files, because the update and editing will probably take longer.

    If only I had that luxury!

    Regarding text-to-speech...is the quality better in 8 than in 4?

    There are more and different voices, but since I never use TTS, cannot give you a personal answer.
