Hi,

If i copy a slide from another cptx, closed captioning isn't copied.

Does anyone know if it's possible somehow to copy closed captions?

Or: attach them to another audiofile?

Why? I want to create subtitles within a single Captivate file.

Regards!

Which version do you use? Slide notes and CC are copied with slides in 9.0.1.320 and 8.0.3.290. I just double-checked.

    You were right...

Seems i was doing something odd. I copied a slide which had the same filenames in the library as the Original project. Therefore CC  where not copied as it seems that they can not address to the same source (audio file). Changed the name in the library before copying and that seemed to work.

    Sorry for not being clear/precise.

Thanks for reporting back. Indeed, you have to be careful with naming!

What do you mean by the Closed Captioning not copying?  I just did a little test and mine came over in the slide notes.
