copy input text to another slide.

Is it possible for a user to enter text into a text entry object on one slide and then for you to be able to show that text on another slide (for reflection).

Of course! You can use a TEB or a Scrolling Text interaction (easier for longer text), both have an associated variable (you have to define it for the interaction).

On the other slide you'll have to insert the variable, using the X button in the Properties panel of the text container (shape or caption). You have to be in text editing mode to see that button. I don't post a screenshot, because you didn't mention which version you are using and its location is different in CP8 from previous versions.
