copy/paste in CP8

Question

Having issues when copying into CP8. We did a series of copy pastes from another application last week and everything went fine. Opened the same project Monday and copied content from another slide to a new slide. Later tried to copy and paste from the other application again and when paste is chosen it just pastes the slide info copied earlier and not the content I'd copied to paste.

We've cleared the cache and opened and closed the project and CP8 to no avail.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Such behavior is almost always a computer-resource issue.

If you copy from the other application and paste into Word (for example), does it paste successfully?

You likely just need to reboot...and for future resolution, increase the system memory (and be sure you have a lot of free HD space available).

OR if you can find a program that will purge the Windows clipboard, that may help resolve the issue...
