Correct Hot-Spot answers rated false in IE and HTML5

We experienced that Hot-Spot questions generated with Captivate 8.0.1.242 do not work correctly in IE 9 to 11 if published for HTML5.

Correct answers are rated false. For a simple demo see http://hotspot.vismedia-update.de

Did anyone know a workaround?

Klaus

Still the same after 4 years. No Adobe update has fixed it.

Hotspots in Captivate 8.0.1.242 still do not work correctly in IE 11 - correct answers are graded as false.

Was it fixed in newer releases of Captivate?

We are at version 11.0.1.266, do you expect a fix for such an old version (8)?

    Guten Tag, Klaus!

You are correct, I verified your examples; works fine in Chrome, but not in IE11. Since I never use IE, didn't see that problem yet.

Did you ever try a custom hotspot question? It could be a 'workaround': Custom Hotspot questions in Captivate 8 - Captivate blog

    Dear Lieve,

hopefully Adobe will provide a fix short-termed and that we do not have to create own solutions for hot spot questions.

In addition the advantages of your solution(s) are obvious! Could you provide a simple source file demonstrating your solution (version 2)? Maybe it will help basic users like me to solve problems in own projects.

Sorry, I offer a lot for free, but as a freelancer no longer offer free

    source files.
