Course always fails even when there are no questions.

I've made a course in captivate 8 and it's a course without any questions. When I upload the course and try it it says I've failed. I've tried changing the publish settings. I've tried disabling the reporting and putting the pass/fail option to 0% but they don't seem to work.

There is an option of course to put in one question that is always correct but I find it ugly and not fitting to do so. Is there any way I can just turn the pass/fail report completely off?

In SCORM, pass/fail implies you have a quiz component in there somewhere.  Otherwise you'd just be asking about completion, not passing.

Some LMSs are finicky about this.

If you want to fudge the pass, just add a button somewhere that the learner is required to click (perhaps near the end of the course to indicate they want to finish or to get to another final slide), set that button to have a score reported to the quiz.  Clicking the button will therefore give the learner a pass and that should satisfy requirements of your LMS.

Could you tell me how I make a button like this? What settings do I need?

Just insert a Text Button, or a Smart Shape set to be a button.  Select the option in Properties tab to have the object report to the quiz.

If this is all gibberish to you, read the Help file or get some basic Captivate user training.
