Our course built with Captivate 8 is running in our system (OpenText) in IE11, Chrome and Safari. However, we can't get it to run in IE10. Does anyone have a fix?

I have this same issue. My project works fine in Chrome, and Firefox, but will not go beyond the initial load animation for IE9, 10, 11.

Our project utilizes cpExtra and a significant number of Advanced Actions. In Chrome after the loading animation runs, it pauses for about 15 seconds of no action before rendering the first screen. Then everything performs normally. This has led me to suspect the construction of the index.html and when it loads scripts. Something is not loading correctly. I have used the F12/Console tool in IE to look for error messages, however none have appeared. I have not been able to identify how else I might test, debug or find a way to get the project to load in IE9+.

Like the original poster, upgrading IE or using an alternate browser is not possible for our users.

Thank you Rod for reminding everyone that even if you get a solution from another source is appreciated and expected that you will share what you learn with the entire community here.

I've seen some issues with earlier versions of IE, but not 10.

What exactly does 'can't get it to run' mean? What happens and doesn't happen?

as I replied in the IM you sent, this is an issue with your browser and unless you know someone at Microsoft who will backfill HTML5 support into IE8, the message is what it is.

You either need to upgrade your browser or you need to forget about HTML output.

Test your browser's HTML support:

HTML5test - How well does your browser support HTML5?

Could try this, but no idea if it would work:
