Course taking longer than normal to record completion on LMS

Is there something I should be doing on the Captivate 9 side of publishing to allow LMS to save, close and record completion more quickly? Right now when user clicks on LMS wrapper to 'save and close' it takes several seconds to complete.

    Sounds like an LMS issue. Closing a course and returning to the LMS that I have worked with has always been close enough to instantaneous for it to never matter.

     

    Perhaps see what happens when users simply exit the course by closing the course window. See what happens with regards to bookmarking and storing any scoring or interaction data.

    I agree.  This is more likely to be the LMS getting bogged down with all the requests being thrown at it by elearning courses.
